Access to the Virtual Magazine, the market boards and postings will always be free and available to anyone who wants to look. Contact information will always be free and available with basic securtity (to avoid those same bots) but at no cost.
Where we hope to pay for this service, and for the on-going moderating, is through membership at a business level.
In the next 6 months we will be making our way around the park to meet businesses, explain what's going on, and leaving instructions on how to sign in to the Virtual Magazine to create and edit postings, your company infomation etc. After that we are looking at a token charge of $25 per month, per business. There will be no limit to the number of employees, administrators or just friends you then give access to.
Our goal is only to pay for the work it requires to keep the site up, running efficiently, and moderating the boards, so that we can avoid what has happened so often to the Craigslist's and MarketPlace's of this world!"
